In 1999, Dr. Al-Malt, a board certified perinatologist, opened Fetal Diagnostic Center of Orlando. He is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in both Maternal-Fetal Medicine and OB/GYN.
Your primary obstetrician decides if your pregnancy is high risk. Our board certified physicians, highly-skilled sonographers and professional staff will work closely with your primary obstetrician to develop a comprehensive plan of care to achieve the best outcome for you and your baby.
Our physicians are board certified in both Maternal Fetal medicine and obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN). Our sonographers are registered diagnostic medical sonographer (RDMS) certified. The RDMS credential raises the standard of diagnostic medical ultrasound practice worldwide and promotes best practices for enhanced patient safety. The RDMS credential is designed to certify competence in the field of diagnostic medical sonography. By earning the RDMS credential, healthcare professionals gain a critical edge in promoting public safety in ultrasound.
During your visit, you will receive an in-depth consultation with one of our physicians to discuss your pregnancy needs and concerns. If a procedure is necessary, you will be provided a detailed explanation of the risks, benefits, limitations and alternatives of the procedure.
Due to the nature of our practice, we ask that you make every effort not to bring small children with you to your appointment. We offer only the highest quality of care and in order to achieve our goals we need to focus on you and your concerns.
