Our Physician

Dr. Al-Malt was born in Alexandria, Egypt.  He received his medical degree from Alexandria University Faculty of Medicine, Eygyt in 1975.  His post-graduate training includes an internship at Metro General Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio, a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio and a fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Metro Health Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio.

Dr. Al-Malt held academic appointments at Case Western Reserve University where he was the Assistant Professor for the Department of OB-GYN, Saint Louis University School of Medicine, Assistant Professor for the OB-GYN department and Director of  Fetal Evaluation and Treatment Unit.  Dr. Al-Malt relocated to Orlando, Florida in 1997. He was associated with Florida Hospital Medical Center as the Co-Director of the Maternal-Fetal Center.  In 1999, he opened his private practice, Fetal Diagnostic Center of  Orlando.

Dr. Al-Malt is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in both OB-GYN and Maternal-Fetal Medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.  He is an active member of the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine, American Medical Association, Florida Medical Association, Orange County Medical Society, Seminole County Medical Society, American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine and the Fetal Medicine Foundation.   In 2010, Dr. Al-Malt was elected to serve as OB-GYN Department Chairman for Florida Hospital.
